Cheers Dave, don't worry we won't be taking anything for granted, we remember being 7 - 0 down to you lot earlier in the season, we know what your capable of!
Your frame against Rob last night was absolute quality, I must say though, the 3 , 7 ball dishes on the trot, I've never seen that happen before, thats 24 balls potted without reply, truly fantastic pool last night. Well done to everyone involved, particularly prew, I thought he played 2 great frames and Laney has been absolute quality all season. Looking forward to tomorrow, I just hope the standard is as high as it was last night. _________________ St Pat's.........Marching On Together |

Well done to St Pats on reaching the Landlords Final, a few scares on the way but they managed to beat Hod 'A' 11-9 on the last frame of the night.
A great comeback by Hod 'A' to come from 7-3 down in the first leg to level the match at 9-9, but they couldn't carry the momentum into the last couple of frames.
Greyhound 'B' managed to polish off Hobsons 5-0 tonight, giving us a resounding 14-1 semi-final success.
I look forward to a great final between the St Pats lads and our lot ! |

What a great night, fantastic atmosphere, well done to the Hod A played some great pool last night, the quality didn't match Tues but the tension was amazing, great to see the whole pool community enjoying themselves down the club last night. Well done to the St Pat's lads last night at 9 - 9 we could have easily buckled, but we never which was great to witness and should hold us in good stead for next week. Well done to the Greyhound lads, a fine victory last night, it should be a great final in october the 'friendly' final where Leamington Pool will be the winner. _________________ St Pat's.........Marching On Together |

Yes well done to both teams, and unlucky to the Hod who produced a great fight back, and the Hobsons, who as a 3rd division side did really well to get as far as they did.
Having spoken to John Long last night, I can also confirm that the final will be played on presentation night at St Pats Club, which will be Sunday 26th October. The singles and doubles will also be played on that day.
Good luck to everyone for the remainder of the season, and in particular the teams competing in what will be title deciding matches next week. _________________ Nelson Army

Well done to both teams in last night's match, the whole match was played in a great spirit. I actually thought that some very good pool was played last night especially under pressure, it's a shame someone had to lose.
Good luck to you all for the remainder of the season, I for one really enjoyed watching a great and exciting match, both teams should be proud of the way they played and for me evryone was a winner.
Looking forward to the final just hope we can put on as good a show as you all did last night.
Also well done to the Hobson's the score line only tells part of the story, we rode our luck in the first few frames which made all the difference.
