I was talking to Jordy the other day and I mentioned that Leamington has some great players but u get alot of friendly debates on who people think is the best in Leamington. I thinko we should start maybe having a few head to heads to see who beats who and who is better.

E.g I personally think Sparky is the best in leamington but is very close between him and Robbie. So why not get matches like these and make them happen.

Isn't this what averages and tournaments achieve ?
I think Robbie has proved he is the best in Leamington at the moment, he has won the Leamington Summer Averages, the Leamington Winter Singles and got to the final of Bri's tournament, where unfortunately he lost to the best player in the area.
Averages are the best way to judge who is the best in the town, in my opinion (at least until the ranking system is in place).
So i don't see any point in this really Smithers !

You can make a judgement based on ability and temperament, you can base a decision on consistency, you can call averages and honours into the equation, also potting standards, safety play and tactical awareness.

Many different players would be best in each of the categories described.

Averages are a good way but it is only based on 1 frame. And we have only had 1 tournament that all the best players entered

Robbie is an unbelievable talent and toatlly agree he will only get better. But I personally would still edge towards Sparky. Its just my personal opinion but i would fancy Sparky to beat anyone in Leamington
