Thanks to Robbie Butterworth's good work we have been allocated a place in the new inter-league season (matches played Sunday 7pm start, approx one a month).
The fixtures are listed below, and this is something that we have been discussing with various local players for a while now.
The league is played to World Rules, and I will be in touch with players to gather interest asap (if not already done so).
I am still awaiting confirmation etc of a few things before I can let people know exact details, but will do this asap, but we now need to to sort this quickly (venue, team etc).
TBC Jun or Aug - H v Nuneaton Top Guns P-P
17th Feb - A v Reds Elite (Coventry) Lost 16-2
24th Feb - Cup Prelim (Start time 12.30pm at Reds) Qualified top of group W-W-L
16th Mar - A v Nuneaton Lions Lost 12-6
20th Apr - H v Reds 1 (Coventry)
20th Jul - H v Rileys Regulars (Coventry)
7th Sep - H v Rugby
19th Oct - A v Rileys HP (Coventry)
2nd Nov - A v Nuneaton Town
14th Dec - A v Nuneaton 'A'

Just found out that matches for this start at 7pm.
It's ok though because I can arrange the Blackball Sunday league fixtures around it.

Knottsy will sort out the Wheatsheaf for us to use, I have put the team name in as Leamington & Warwick for now.
All we need to do now, is get some sort of practice in place before our 1st match on the 17th Feb, get the lads who have never played the rules started. Any ideas lads?
Some of the shots :
1) breaking, four balls must hit a cushion
2) if pot white, but four hit cush only 1 foul shot away
3) if foul break and pot white, 2 shots
4) if pot yellow off break can still take reds, but must nominate before next shot, if miss pot for red, still open
5) if foul break, balls re-racked and opponents get 2 shots
6) if black in off break, void break, not foul, same player breaks
7) hit cushion after ball, if not foul and 2 shots
8.) if you leave player snookered after a foul, they can play from baulk (foul snooker)
9) can only play opponents ball if foul snookered, and must nominate it
10) if you cover a bag, but foul, aslong as not foul snookered, they cant pot your ball over bag

I will be getting the reg forms off Robbie Butterworth tomorrow for this, it is £4 per player to register, and I will need to take a photo of you, because it needs two passport size photo's too. Can people please let me know when the best time is to come and see you between Thursday and Saturday, as I need to get the paperwork to Garry Calcott by Sunday at the latest.

I will be in the Railway tonight from half 6 to about half 7.
Then after that I will be in the Wheatsheaf for most of the remainder of the night.
So if people want to come and sign on down there, they can.
Please bring your £4, and 2 passport photo's if you have them, if not I will have to take a mug shot of you, so I can arrange the photo's from my end.
